Hello! My name is Allyson. I absolutely love all things creative - art, dance, books, music, fashion, etc! This blog is to share my personal portfolio, designs, and crafts.
WHERE I'VE BEEN: I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2007 with a degree in Advertising Art. I LOVE creating and making gifts for my friends and family - nothing is more special than a handmade gift that is personalized for your loved ones. Staying within that creative spirit, dance has always been a big part of my life; I started dancing when I was 10 years old and continued my dance career throughout college.
WHERE I AM: Currently, I work at the Oncology Nursing Society in Pittsburgh, PA as Graphic Designer. I definitely wear many hats in the position, but love a fast-paced and energetic environment. In addition to my full time job, I have a craft business with my sister, where we sell handmade reusable snack bags. We successfully finished our first juried craft show, where we sold over 100 bags! Most importantly, I am just trying to make the most of life and do the things that make me happy.
HOW I GOT THERE: My family and friends mean everything to me, and although we all live in different parts of the country, we manage to stay connected! Creativity has always been a major force within my family, and it is something that brings joy to us all! (Big thanks to my grandpa and mom for this!)
